Kerala an exotic experience not to be missed is a tropical paradise of lush green fields, cool backwaters, palm-fringed lagoons, enchanting valleys, exquisite beaches and colorful festivals. One of the most beautiful states in India, located between the western mountains and the Arabian Sea.
Pristine beaches studded with coconut palms and backwaters of Kerala have long been main attractions. If you want to explore this beautiful and serene backwaters then the best way is to cruise through the traditional houseboats.
Thousands of tourists also come here for Ayurvedic treatment. Ayurveda, a 4000 year-old holistic medical science, ayurveda has become linked with this state, thanks to the region's tropical climate, its rigorous standards of practice and its wealth of medicinal herbs. Monsoon season (between June and mid-August) is the best time for ayurvedic treatments.

Where is Kerala
Small state in India. Located on the southernmost tip of the Indian mainland. Karnataka surrounds from the North while Tamilnadu lies to the East and the Arabian Sea borders on the west. The Western Ghats run north to South and separate this state from the rest of the country.
When to go
Kerala's climate is sultry. For the
best weather, come during the relatively cool season (winter); between October and February. March, April and May are hot and humid (summer), though the hill stations of Thekkady and Munnar are still pleasant. Heavy rains (monsoon) fall between June and September, crowds are at a minimum, hotel rates are slashed and best time for ayurvedic treatment.
How to go
Tiny state is well connected to rest of India by rail, road and air. You can board a flight, go by rail, road or by sea.
